Ingredients

  • 250 g - white fish fillets
  • 250 g - shelled Prawns
  • 2 cups - Milk
  • 2 cups - water
  • 1 cup - sweet corn, Cream style
  • 1 cup - onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - Celery stalk, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 1/2 tsp - mixed dried herbs
  • salt and pepper

How to Make Corn and Seafood Chowder

  • Melt the butter in a skillet.
  • Add onion and celery and cook till they soften.
  • Add parsley, mixed herbs, fish and prawns.
  • Add water, salt and pepper. Let it simmer till the fish and prawns are cooked.
  • Remove the fish with a slotted spoon and transfer to a plate.
  • Cool slowly and flake the fillets.
  • Add the flaked fish back to the skillet.
  • Add sweet corn and milk.
  • Allow it to simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
