Ingredients

  • 500 gm - broken vermicelli, boiled
  • 3 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 200 gm - tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 100 gm - onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp - minced Red Chillies
  • 1 cup - boiled Corn
  • 1 tsp - dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 1 cup - grated cheese
  • A few sprigs of parsley, for garnishing
  • salt to taste

How to Make Corn Cheese Vermicelli

  • Heat oil in a casserole for a minute.
  • Add onions, garlic and mix. Cover and microwave on 'High' for three minutes until onion becomes soft.
  • Add tomatoes and minced red chillies.
  • Microwave on 'High' for three minutes more.
  • Add corn, oregano, salt and black pepper.
  • Mix and microwave on 'High' for one minute.
  • Add vermicelli and mix well.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle cheese over the vermicelli.
  • Cover and microwave on 'High' for three minutes so that the cheese will melt.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
