Ingredients

  • 75 gms - grated Coconut
  • 1 cup - boiled Corn
  • 1 cup - groundnuts
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 4 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • A few sprigs - Curry leaves
  • 150 gms - thin poha, washed and drained
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing
  • salt and Sugar - to taste

How to Make Corn Coconut Chivda

  • Put oil in a casserole. Microwave 'High' for a minute.
  • Add cumin seeds and microwave on 'High' for one minute.
  • Add green chillies, curry leaves and groundnuts.
  • Microwave on 'High' for three minutes.
  • Mix corn, poha, coconut, and the remaining spices in a plate.
  • Add to the casserole and mix well. Sprinkle 30 ml of water.
  • Cover and microwave on 'High' for three minutes to make the chivda very hot.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot.
