Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups - cooked Corn kernels
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups - white sauce
  • 3 tbsp - chopped Onion
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Capsicum
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Celery
  • 3 tbsp - Ground cheese
  • salt, pepper and mustard to taste

How to Make Corn Cups

  • Line 18 greased muffin tins with thinly sliced bread slices, removing the crusts.
  • Spread bread slices with soft butter - it is easier to use the back of a spoon rather than a knife.
  • Bake at 200 degree C for about 8-10 mins. till crisp.
  • For Filling :
  • Fry the chopped onions in 1 tbsp. of butter till soft.
  • Add chopped capsicum, chopped celery and cooked corn kernels. Take off fire.
  • Add the white sauce, ground cheese, salt, pepper and mustard to taste.
  • Pour the mixture into the bread cups.
  • Sprinkle a little more ground cheese on top.
  • Bake at 180 degree C for about 10 mins.
  • Serve hot with chilli sauce.
