  • 4 cups Corn
  • 4 cups plain flour
  • 4 cups grated cheese
  • 2 cups Curd
  • 1 tsp cooking soda
  • 20 Green chillies and 2 inch piece Ginger (grind to a paste)
  • juice of 4 Lemons (small)
  • 6 tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups water
  • oil for deep frying
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Corn Fry 'Ems:

    1. Cook the corn till tender.
    2. Mix it with all the remaining ingredients, except the oil.
    3. Add enough water to make a slightly thick batter.
    4. Deep fry big chunks of the batter in hot oil on a medium flame.
    5. When the chunks are cool break each into 2 or 3 pieces.
    6. Deep fry these once again in hot oil on a medium flame just before serving.
