Ingredients

  • 450 gms - Corn, chopped coarsely in a blender
  • 1 - Egg
  • 2 tbsp - Plain Flour
  • 1.5 - large Onion, chopped
  • 2 - Green chillies, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - Maize flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 6-8 tbsp - Water
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Corn Pakoras

  • In a bowl, mix all ingredients except oil for frying and refrigerate for 1/2 an hour.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Drop the mixture in the form of dumplings of one tbsp each into the oil and fry on medium heat till light brown and crisp.
