How to Make Corn-Peas Pulao

  • Soak basmati rice in 3.5 cups of water for 20 minutes and prepare rice.
  • In a heavy saucepan, heat the oil and add cumin and mustard seeds to splutter.
  • Add onions, bay leaves, ginger garlic paste and fry them until they turn into brown.
  • To same oil add the corn, peas, turmeric, chilli, salt and masala powders.
  • Cover and cook till they turn into brown.
  • Then add cooked rice and mix well and wait for 3-4 minutes.
  • Garnish with cashews and enjoy.
  • Serve hot with curd.
