Ingredients

  • 1 cup - boiled corn
  • 1 cup - tomato puree
  • 1/2 - chopped tomato
  • 1 - chopped onion (small)
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - full cream
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp- hing
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Corn-Tamatar Bharta

  • Heat oil in a deep pan and splutter the cumin seeds.
  • Add hing and the chopped onion along with ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  • Add the boiled corn, tomato puree, salt and all the spices and remaining ingredients with full cream. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes until the gravy thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapathi.
