Ingredients

  • 200 gm - raw corn flakes
  • 75 gm - peanuts
  • 75 gm - cashew nuts
  • 4 tbsp- raisins
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Chilli powder - to taste
  • 2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • A few - curry leaves
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - to fry

How to Make Cornflakes Mixture

  • Deep fry corn flakes in hot oil and drain well.
  • Deep fry peanuts, cashew nuts, and raisins and mix them with the corn flakes.
  • Roast cumin seeds, crush and add to corn flakes.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil and splutter the mustard and curry leaves.
  • Remove from fire and add all the powders.
  • Add this to the corn flakes.
  • Add salt and sugar and mix well.
  • Cool and store in air tight container.
