Ingredients

  • 120 g - Flour/maida
  • 100 g - Butter
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • ΒΌ tsp - Baking powder
  • 100 g - Sugar, powdered
  • 1/2 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - Crushed cornflakes
  • How to Make Cornflakes Vanilla Cookies:

    1. Sieve the flour/maida with baking powder and salt.
    2. Cream butter and sugar well until mixture is light and creamy.
    3. Add lime juice, vanilla essence, flour and mix roughly with a fork to a firm consistency.
    4. Form about 30 equal size balls, then flatten them.
    5. Roll in crushed corn flakes.
    6. Arrange on a greased and floured baking tray leaving enough space in between for the biscuits, to spread while baking.
    7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till golden brown.
