  • 120 g - Flour/maida
  • 100 g - Butter
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • ¼ tsp - Baking powder
  • 100 g - Sugar, powdered
  • 1/2 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - Crushed cornflakes

How to Make Cornflakes Vanilla Cookies

  • Sieve the flour/maida with baking powder and salt.
  • Cream butter and sugar well until mixture is light and creamy.
  • Add lime juice, vanilla essence, flour and mix roughly with a fork to a firm consistency.
  • Form about 30 equal size balls, then flatten them.
  • Roll in crushed corn flakes.
  • Arrange on a greased and floured baking tray leaving enough space in between for the biscuits, to spread while baking.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till golden brown.
