  • 16 oz - low fat Cottage cheese
  • 3-4 cups - Maida
  • 2 - medium-sized Onions
  • 7-8 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • How to Make Cottage Cheese Bajji:

    1. Finely chop the onions, green chillies and coriander leaves.
    2. Mix the cottage cheese, maida, chopped onions, chillies, coriander, cumin seeds and salt to form a thick batter (consistency like vada batter and should not stick to your palm).
    3. Heat oil in a kadhai or frying pan.
    4. Prepare vada-shaped bajjis using a little oil and fry them golden brown on low heat.
    5. Serve hot with mint chutney or cabbage chutney.
