  • 16 oz - low fat cottage cheese
  • 3-4 cups - maida
  • 2 - medium-sized onions
  • 7-8 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to Make Cottage Cheese Bajji

  • Finely chop the onions, green chillies and coriander leaves.
  • Mix the cottage cheese, maida, chopped onions, chillies, coriander, cumin seeds and salt to form a thick batter (consistency like vada batter and should not stick to your palm).
  • Heat oil in a kadhai or frying pan.
  • Prepare vada-shaped bajjis using a little oil and fry them golden brown on low heat.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney or cabbage chutney.
