Cottage Cheese Pakoras or Paneer Pakoras are made of paneer, all purpose flour, a bit of rice flour spiced with green chillies and cilantro. This is an easy version made by mixing everything together and frying. The cottage cheese or Paneer can be made at home as well.  Paneer Pakoras make for a satisfying evening snack during the monsoon rains for many Indians. Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cottage cheese
  • 1.5 cups - all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp - rice flour
  • 1 - onion
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1/2 bunch - cilantro
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep frying

How to Make Cottage Cheese Pakoras

  • Finely chop the onion, green chillies and cilantro.
  • Mix with the cottage cheese and flours to make a thick, sticky paste.
  • Deep-fry in oil like pakoras.
  • Serve hot with cilantro chutney/tomato ketchup.
