  • 200 g - paneer/cottage cheese, chopped into medium-sized pieces
  • 1 cup - gram flour
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - baking soda or baking powder
  • oil for frying
  • How to Make Cottage Cheese (Paneer) Fritters:

    1. Mix all the ingredients, except the oil and paneer, to prepare a sticky batter.
    2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan until smoky.
    3. Mix the paneer pieces with the batter.
    4. Drop a tsp of batter at a time into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
