Ingredients

  • 1kg - pork, cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 3 large - onions, sliced finely
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 sticks - Cinnamon
  • 4 - Cloves
  • 2 - Cardamoms
  • 2 tbsp - Vinegar
  • How to Make Country captain pork:

    1. Wash the pork and boil it with a little salt and 1 cup of water till it is tender.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions lightly.
    3. Add the garlic paste and saute for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
    4. Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, vinegar and salt to it.
    5. Add the cooked pork along with the soup and cook it on simmer for about 10 minutes till the gravy is thick.
