  • 1 cup - Cracked wheat (soaked for 2 hours)
  • 2 cups - whole Wheat flour
  • 1 - ripe Banana
  • 250 g - chocolate bar (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - active Dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup - lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Apple sauce
  • 3 tbsp - cooking oil
  • How to Make Cracked Wheat, Banana N Chocolate Bread:

    1. Mix active dry yeast in lukewarm water with salt and a teaspoon of sugar, keep aside for a few minutes until the yeast turns foamy.
    2. Mix cracked wheat, whole wheat flour, mashed bananas, chopped chocolate pieces in a bowl.
    3. Beat sugar, oil and apple sauce for a few minutes until the sugar dissolves. Mix everything into sticky dough.
    4. Keep the dough in a warm place for two hours, covered with a damp cloth, until they double in volume.
    5. Preheat the oven to 350F, grease a loaf mould and transfer the sticky dough to the mould, arrange the mould in the middle rack of the oven, bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust turns golden brown. Let it cool completely and serve the bread with any spread.
