Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cabbage, chopped
  • 2 - Onion
  • 4 - Garlic pods
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 2 tbsp - finely chopped Cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp - Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup - low fat Milk
  • 2 cups - water
  • 1 tsp - chilli flakes
  • Salt as needed

How to Make Cream of Cabbage Soup

  • Roughly chop the cabbage and onions into big pieces
  • In a kadai, add olive oil and saute the cabbage and onions for 2 mins.
  • Transfer it to a big vessel and add the garlic and ginger to it.
  • Add 2 cups of water and pressure cook till 3-4 whistles.
  • Cool, remove the ginger.
  • Blend it smoothly in a mixer along with the milk.
  • In a kadai, add a drop of oil and add the finely chopped cabbage to it. Saute for a minute and add the mix to it.
  • Add salt, boil for 2 mins.
  • Serve hot with chilli flakes garnished.
