  • 1 cup - cabbage, chopped
  • 2 - Onion
  • 4 - Garlic pods
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 2 tbsp - finely chopped Cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp - Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup - low fat Milk
  • 2 cups - water
  • 1 tsp - chilli flakes
  • Salt as needed
  • How to Make Cream of Cabbage Soup:

    1. Roughly chop the cabbage and onions into big pieces
    2. In a kadai, add olive oil and saute the cabbage and onions for 2 mins.
    3. Transfer it to a big vessel and add the garlic and ginger to it.
    4. Add 2 cups of water and pressure cook till 3-4 whistles.
    5. Cool, remove the ginger.
    6. Blend it smoothly in a mixer along with the milk.
    7. In a kadai, add a drop of oil and add the finely chopped cabbage to it. Saute for a minute and add the mix to it.
    8. Add salt, boil for 2 mins.
    9. Serve hot with chilli flakes garnished.
