  • 1 kg - mutton
  • 1.5 piece - ginger
  • 1 tbsp - poppy seeds
  • 5 red chillies
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 lemon
  • 1.5 cup - oil
  • mint and coriander leaves
  • salt to taste

How to Make Crispy Mutton

  • Grind together chillies, ginger and poppy seeds.
  • Boil mutton, cool and flake, discarding bone.
  • Heat the oil and fry the mutton until well browned. Drain
  • Reheat oil and fry ground spices with salt for a few minutes.
  • Add mutton, mix well and heap into a flat dish.
  • Garnish with green chillies, coriander and wedges of lemon.
