Ingredients

  • noodles - 1 packet
  • Finely sliced Onion - 1 cup
  • Finely sliced Capsicum - 1 cup
  • Finely sliced Cabbage - 1 cup
  • Finely sliced Carrot - 1 cup
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp (or more for frying)
  • How to Make Crispy Noodles with mixed vegetables:

    1. Boil and cook the noodles. To the cooked noodles, add cold water and filter it.
    2. Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the noodles and mix well so that the noodles do not stick to each other.
    3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a kadai and saute the onions.
    4. Add the capsicum, carrot, and cabbage. Also add the ginger paste, chilli powder, tomato sauce, asafoetida, and salt.
    5. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
    6. Heat 2 cups of oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the boiled noodles.
    7. Break the deep-fried noodles and add them to the vegetable mixture and serve hot.
