Ingredients

  • Channa flour (Besan) - 2 Cups
  • Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 4 to 8 (according to your taste)
  • Ginger - 2 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 tsp (Optional)
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp (Optional)
  • Onion - 2, medium size
  • Cashew nuts - 10 to 15
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 2 tsp (according to your taste)
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Coriander leaves - a few
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • How to Make Crispy Pakora:

    1. Cut onion lengthwise. Cut ginger, garlic, coriander, curry leaves, green chillies, and cashew nuts into small pieces.
    2. Mix all of the ingredients together; don't add water.
    3. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.
    4. Heat oil. Make small irregular balls using the dough and put this into the oil.
    5. Deep-fry till golden brown.
    6. Take the pakora from the oil and put this into a bowl with tissue paper. The tissue paper will absorb the excess oil if any.
