  • Urad Dal -1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies 3
  • Ginger- 1/4"
  • Curry leaves 4-5
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Crispy Vadai:

    1. Soak the dal for 10 minutes. Drain the water and grind it in the blender with as little water as possible.
    2. When the batter is nice and smooth, take it out of the blender. Add salt, green chillies (chopped), ginger (grated), and curry leaves.
    3. You can take a small piece of plastic wrap, sprinkle some water on top, and dip your fingers in a glass of water.
    4. Take a small ball of the batter, spread it on the wrap as a circle, and poke a hole in the middle.
    5. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a deep dish. Deep-fry the doughnut-shaped rounds.
