  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1/4 cup - Milk powder
  • 1/4 cup - cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup - light Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup - toasted Wheat bran
  • 1/4 cup - puffed Rice Krispies
  • 4 to 5 drops - vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • How to Make Crunchy Chocolate Balls:

    1. Mix cocoa and milk powder together.
    2. Add half a cup of milk and make a smooth paste. Keep aside.
    3. Add butter and brown sugar to a nonstick pan.
    4. Place over low heat, stirring occasionally until fully melted.
    5. Add remaining milk and bring to a boil.
    6. Add the prepared paste gradually, while stirring continuously.
    7. Cook, while gently stirring, until it forms a soft lump.
    8. The mixture should leave the sides of the pan easily.
    9. Add in vanilla essence, Rice Krispies, and half of the wheat bran.
    10. Remove from fire and mix well till it cools a little.
    11. Roll into small balls between both palms.
    12. Roll the balls in the remaining bran.
    13. Refrigerate on a sheet of butter paper till well set.
    14. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
