Ingredients

  • 1 kg white fish fillets (cod fish, monkfish)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Make a marinade of: 2 sprigs of Spring onion
  • 1-inch Ginger
  • 3 - Garlic Cloves
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 cup - Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup - gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • How to Make Crunchy Fish Fry with Bread Crumbs & Gram Flour:

    1. Clean and wash fish fillets.
    2. Cut into big pieces.
    3. Put the fish pieces in the marinade.
    4. Keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
    5. Heat the oil for frying.
    6. Remove the pieces and roll in bread crumbs.
    7. Deep-fry till golden brown.
    8. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
