How to Make Crushed spicy poha

  • Crush rice flakes coarsely in a blender and keep aside.
  • Mix jaggery, tamarind, salt and rasam powder in 2 cups of water and heat til jaggery and salt dissolves.
  • Pour the spiced water on the crushed rice flakes to make it damp.
  • Cover and keep aside for 15-20 mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and add asafoetida, curry leaves, peanuts and dal mixture and add to the rice flakes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
