Ingredients

  • 4 yellow cucumbers
  • 4 green chillies
  • 10-15 roasted peanuts
  • 1 tsp - jeera
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1 tsp - channa dal
  • 1 tsp - urad dal
  • 1 tsp - tamarind paste
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Cucumber & Roasted Peanut Chutney

  • Peel and deseed the cucumbers.
  • Chop two cucumbers into fine pieces and the other two cucumbers into halves.
  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves, green chillies, urad dal, channa dal, hing, and peanuts, and roast well.
  • Let it cool and add the halved cucumbers and tamarind paste, and grind it to form a paste.
  • Mix the finely chopped cucumbers with the paste and add salt.
