How to Make Cucumber Koottu

  • Heat oil in a pan, put mustard seeds. After it splutters, add jeera.
  • When it becomes dark brown in colour, add garlic.
  • When it starts turning a little brown in colour, add the onions, fry till they turn golden brown, then add tomatoes and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • Now add the finely chopped cucumber with some haldi, hing and red chilli powder.
  • After it gets cooked well, add the goda masala, salt and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice and dal or with roti.
