Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - mashed lentils/pulse
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seed
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - all spices powder
  • 4 - whole chillies
  • 1 tsp - chilli flakes
  • 5 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 piece - julienned Ginger
  • How to Make Cumin dal:

    1. Wash and boil lentils with salt.
    2. Add red chilli flakes, ginger-garlic paste, and cumin seeds; mix well and saute till it is dry.
    3. Put all spice powders, julienned ginger, green chillies, and coriander leaves.
    4. Serve hot with naan and salad.
