Ingredients

  • 2 - tender corncobs
  • 1 cup - beaten curd
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 inch - piece ginger
  • 4 - green chillies
  • A few sprigs - coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - coriander-cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp

How to Make Curds and Corn Curry

  • Grind together chillies and ginger. Beat curd with 1 cup of water till smooth. Grate the corn finely.
  • Heat 3 tbsp of oil and add cumin seeds
  • When they splutter, put in the corn and fry for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Put in all the spices, salt, and ginger paste.
  • Mix well and then put in the curd. Cover and cook till the raw smell of corn goes away.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves before serving.
