Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup - cooked mincemeat/shredded Chicken
  • 1/2 cup - onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - ginger, minced
  • 2 green chillies, minced
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp - Butter or oil
  • salt and pepper
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Curried Omelette:

    1. Heat the oil, fry onion and ginger till fragrant.
    2. Add green chillies and all the powders.
    3. Fry for few seconds. Add the meat and salt.
    4. Cook and stir for 1 minute and remove from fire.
    5. Beat the eggs lightly and season with salt and pepper.
    6. Heat on a big, thick based omelette pan and pour the eggs.
    7. When they begin to set, place the meat mixture on one 1/2 of the omelette.
    8. Gently fold over the other half to cover the filling.
    9. Carefully turn over and cook the other side for 2 minutes. Serve hot with toast.
