How to Make Curried Turai with Dumplings

  • For the dumplings: Take 100 g besan flour, add salt and any spices
  • Knead into a dough and make small balls or dumplings. Keep aside.
  • For the curry:
  • Peel and cut turai into cubes. Make tomato puree.
  • Heat oil in the pan, add cumin seeds.
  • When the cumin seeds start crackling, add tomato puree, salt and the spices
  • When the gravy boils, add chopped turai and coriander leaves, and mix well
