  • 100 gm - curry Patta leaves (washed and dried on a clean cloth under shade/fan)
  • 2 tbsp - Channa dal
  • 2 tbsp - split Urad Dal ( without husk )
  • 1 tbsp - Jeera
  • 10-12 peeled, garlic, Cloves
  • 10 Red Chillies
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - white til seeds
  • How to Make Curry leaf powder:

    1. Lightly fry the curry leaves in oil and keep aside.
    2. Dry fry the dals,jeera and chillies one by one till nice aroma appears , lastly add garlic, fry for a min and remove.
    3. cool and grind the dal mix to a course powder.
    4. Add curry leaves, salt to the powder,run mixie again for 2 minutes till everything is blended well.
    5. Remove and store in a clean jar.
    6. Make sure the powder is not very fine,if you want you can add dry tamarind piece while grinding or 1 tsp of citic acid crystals.
    7. keep in a fridge to keep it fresh.
    8. serve with plain rice with a tsp of desi ghee.
    9. Curry leaf has got lot of medicinal properties. It is a healthy option for convalescent people.
