Ingredients

  • 500 g - mutton pieces
  • 2 - onions, chopped finely
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • ?cup - chopped coriander
  • 2 - hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 - cup curd
  • For ground paste: 1/2 inch - ginger
  • 7 - garlic pods
  • 2 - dried red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 3 -cardamom
  • 7 - peppercorns
  • 3 - cloves
  • 1 tbsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp - coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - amchoor powder
  • ?inch - cinnamon stick
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Dahi-Nu-Gosht

  • Marinate mutton pieces in curd and the ground paste for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Fry onions till brown.
  • Add the marinated mutton pieces.
  • Put some water and let it cook till it becomes tender (takes approx 1 hour).
  • You can pressure cook it also.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and sliced hard boiled eggs.
  • Serve with phulkas.
