Ingredients

  • 1 - whole chicken
  • 1 - onion
  • 2 - small potatoes
  • 1 - chilli pepper
  • 1 - carrot
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • Seasoning:
  • 2 tbsp - gochujang
  • 1/2 tbsp - ginger
  • 2 tbsp - ground red pepper
  • 1 tbsp - soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp - garlic
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - rice wine
  • 2 tbsp - white wine
  • 1 -2 cups - water

How to Make Dak Doritang

  • Clean vegetables and cut into big piece.
  • Marinate chicken in white wine and grated ginger.
  • In a big, deep skillet heat oil and stir-fry chicken pieces.
  • Add vegetables. Stir for about 5 mins and add 1-2 cups water, and add half the seasoning.
  • Boil for 30 mins over medium heat.
  • Add the rest of the seasoning, and boil for about 10 more mins.
  • When water is reduced, add salt and black pepper.
