  • 3 cup - Wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 cup - Channa dal
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Dried red chilli to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • How to Make Dal Bhari Puri:

    1. For Filling:
    2. Soak channa dal overnight.
    3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and red chilli, then add dal, fry till golden brown/red.
    4. Grind it in a mixer after it has cooled.
    5. Method for Puri:
    6. Mix ghee and atta, then knead into a not-so-soft dough.
    7. Shape into small balls.
    8. Roll into thick and small rounds
    9. Place the filling at the centre, gather the sides together and make a ball
    10. Roll this out into a puri and fry in oil
    11. Serve with dahi
