How to Make Dal Ke Kebabs

  • Wash and soak the dal for 30 to 40 mins
  • Boil the chana dal in 2 cups water with salt and turmeric powder.
  • Cook on a low flame till the dal is tender and the water completely absorbed
  • Cool and mash well
  • Add coriander leaves, red chilli powder, garam masala powder cumin seed powder and cornflour
  • Mix well. Divide into equal portions.
  • Make thick round tikkis
  • Coat each tikki with some bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame till golden
  • Serve hot with green chutney
