Ingredients

  • 1 cup - moong dal
  • 1 cup - onion, cut into small pieces
  • 2-3 flakes - Garlic
  • 1 tsp - kasuri Methi
  • 2-3 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Dal

  • Cook moong dal with 2 cups of water, little salt, and garlic.
  • In a pan heat oil, add onions and fry for few minutes.
  • Now add green chillies, tomatoes, kasuri methi leaves and chilli powder.
  • After few minutes, add the mashed moong dal and little water if required.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
