Ingredients

  • Harad dal - 100 g
  • Brinjal - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Ginger - 1tsp
  • Beans - 50 g
  • 1 - tomato, chopped
  • Any green vegetable except Karela
  • Refined oil - 1tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1tsp
  • How to Make Dalma Oriyali:

    1. Pressure-cook all the vegetables and dal with tomato and ginger.
    2. After 5 to 7 minutes lower the flame. Cook for another 2 mins. Then remove from flame.
    3. Heat some oil and add cumin seeds. Let the seeds crackle.
    4. Add all boiled vegetables and heat through.
    5. For garnishing, use lots of coriander leaves and roasted cumin powder.
