  • 1/2 kg - cauliflower, chopped finely
  • 2 - onions, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • A pinch - Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Dangar (Crispy Vadas):

    1. In a bowl mix chopped cauliflower and onions
    2. Add salt and keep aside
    3. Just before frying add red chilli powder and asafoetida
    4. Sprinkle rice flour just enough to bind it.
    5. Heat the oil in a kadai. Make round balls and flatten it slightly between palms
    6. Deep fry them in hot oil
    7. Serve hot
