Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - cauliflower, chopped finely
  • 2 - onions, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • A pinch - Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Dangar (Crispy Vadas)

  • In a bowl mix chopped cauliflower and onions
  • Add salt and keep aside
  • Just before frying add red chilli powder and asafoetida
  • Sprinkle rice flour just enough to bind it.
  • Heat the oil in a kadai. Make round balls and flatten it slightly between palms
  • Deep fry them in hot oil
  • Serve hot
