Ingredients

  • 1 cup - chopped walnuts
  • 250 g - pitted and chopped dates
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1/4 cup - cream
  • 3 tbsp - flour
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • A big pinch - salt
  • 2 cup - whipped cream
  • 12 - candied cherry

How to Make Date & Walnut Cake

  • Beat eggs, add sugar and beat nicely.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix along with 1/4 cup of cream, nuts and dates.
  • Put the mixture in a greased baking pan and bake in a mode oven for 25 mins.
  • Remove from oven, pick out pieces with the help of a fork and pile on individual plates.
  • Cover each mound with cream and top it with a cherry.
