Ingredients

  • 5 soft seedless dried Dates (de-seeded)
  • 3 Marie biscuits, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 drops Almond or Pistachio essence
  • 300 ml chilled whole Milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice Cream
  • 1 tsp soft Brown sugar (for topping)
  • How to Make Date Smoothies with Marie Biscuit:

    1. Soak dates for 20 minutes in 2 tbsp. milk.
    2. When very soft, blend with the milk.
    3. Add biscuits, sugar, essence, 1/2 cup milk, blend again.
    4. When smooth, add remaining milk and ice cream.
    5. Blend till smooth and frothy.
    6. Pour into tall glasses, sprinkle some brown sugar on top, before serving.
    7. Serve chilled.
