How to Make Dates Halwa

  • Wash and soak the dates in water for 1 hour.
  • Grind to a paste, adding a little water if necessary.
  • Roast 1 tsp of wheat flour till it turns light brown.
  • Add the dates paste, and 3 tsp water.
  • Cover and cook for a while and then add 4 tsp of sugar.
  • Stir it for 10 minutes, adding some ghee.
  • Fry the cashew nuts and cardamom in the ghee and add it to the dates halwa.
