  • 1 lb - chicken (preferably wings or drumsticks)
  • 4-5 - medium onions, cut into rings
  • 3-4 - tomatoes, cut into rings
  • 2 tbsp - tomato puree
  • 2-3 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 3-4 tsp - green chillies paste
  • 1 - lemon
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Bread Crumbs
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Deep fried Chicken

  • Marinate the chicken in ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, salt and lemon juice. Keep aside for 4-5 hours. If possible, refrigerate.
  • Take enough oil in a deep vessel to deep fry the chicken.
  • Take the beaten egg in a bowl, and dip each piece in it and then roll in bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry till dark brown.
  • Next, in a pressure cooker, layer half of the onion and tomato rings. Top with chicken.
  • Add 1 tsp of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to the tomato puree paste. Empty the solution over the chicken. Then make another layer with the remaining onions, tomatoes and chicken.
  • Close the lid, and pressure cook for 10-15 mins. Serve hot.
