  • 6 slices - Cod fish
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder or Turmeric powder
  • 1 - Egg white, beaten well
  • 1/2 cup - breadcrumbs
  • 200 ml - oil (to Deep Fried)
  • How to Make Deep Fried Cod Fish:

    1. Wash and clean fish slices.
    2. Drain out water thoroughly and wipe each fish piece with soft kitchen towel.
    3. Marinate with salt and pepper powder or red chilli powder evenly on both the sides of the fish slices.
    4. Cover and keep aside for half an hour.
    5. In a bowl, beat egg white well.
    6. Dip each slice of marinated fish slice in beaten egg white and coat it with bread crumbs (roll it over breadcrumbs).
    7. Bread crumbs should be coated well (like cutlet).
    8. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and Deep Fried fish slices until crisp and golden brown on both sides.
    9. Please do not fry on high heat.
    10. Adjust the heat to medium and low.
    11. Drain out from oil and place it on kitchen towel / paper towel to absorb extra oil.
    12. Serve hot with mayonnaise / tomato ketchup / French fries.
