Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Beef
  • 1/2 kg - tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 kg - potatoes, peeled & sliced
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder (for sprinkling)
  • 1 tsp - salt (for sprinkling)
  • For ground masala:
  • 1 ball - Tamarind
  • 5 gms - jeera/cumin seeds
  • 10 gms - coriander/dhania
  • 20 gms - red dry chillies
  • How to Make Devil's Dish:

    1. Cut the meat in thin slices and after washing it thoroughly, marinate it in the ground masala for 1-2 hours.
    2. In a pressure cooker, spread a layer of meat.
    3. Then spread a layer of tomatoes over it.
    4. Layer the potatoes over the tomatoes.
    5. Repeat till all the ingredients are used.
    6. Cook on a low flame till the meat is cooked through.
    7. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the dish, as it cooks.
