How to Make Dhal And Onion Cutlets

  • Dip each bread slice in water and squeeze well to drain away extra water (the idea is just to moisten the bread slices).
  • Mix all the ingredients, except the oil with the soaked bread.
  • Divide into small balls and shape into cutlets.
  • Heat the oil in a shallow pan and shallow fry the cutlets a few at a time till golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
