Ingredients

  • A handful - Dill leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 - Tender English Cucumber, chopped
  • 1 - Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 cup - Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Dill leaves and Cucumber Raita:

    1. Add oil in a pan. When hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and wait till they splatter.
    2. Once they splatter add green chillies and saute.
    3. Now add dill leaves and saute.
    4. Remove it off the heat and allow it to cool down completely.
    5. In a bowl add yogurt, salt, sugar and whisk well.
    6. Once cooled add chopped cucumber to it.
    7. Now pour the whisked yogurt on top of the cooled mixture and mix well.
    8. Dill leaves and cucumber raita is ready to serve. Goes well with any flat breads or even plain rice.
