  • A handful - Dill leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 - Tender English Cucumber, chopped
  • 1 - Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 cup - Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Dill leaves and Cucumber Raita

  • Add oil in a pan. When hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and wait till they splatter.
  • Once they splatter add green chillies and saute.
  • Now add dill leaves and saute.
  • Remove it off the heat and allow it to cool down completely.
  • In a bowl add yogurt, salt, sugar and whisk well.
  • Once cooled add chopped cucumber to it.
  • Now pour the whisked yogurt on top of the cooled mixture and mix well.
  • Dill leaves and cucumber raita is ready to serve. Goes well with any flat breads or even plain rice.
