  • 227 gms - flour
  • 60 gms - Finely cut nuts
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - baking powder
  • 60 gms - maple syrup
  • 50 gms - milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp - vegetable oil

How to Make Donuts with Nuts and Maple Syrup

  • Put the flour, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl and add the baking powder, milk, eggs and oil.
  • Stir all of it thoroughly. Cover the batter and let it rise for 30 mins.
  • The donut moulds may be greased with cooking oil.
  • Stir all ingredients thoroughly until the batter is smooth.
  • Preheat the donut making appliance for 5 mins. Fill in one level tbsp. of batter per donut mould and close appliance.
  • Baking time would be 30 mins or until the desired degree of brownness has been achieved.
  • Take finished donuts from the mould and use up remaining batter in the same way.
  • Top with icing and sprinkle nuts and maple syrup over it.
