Ingredients

  • 800 gm - minced beef
  • 4 gm - salt and pepper
  • BBQ sauce, to taste
  • Caramelized onion:
  • 100 gm - sliced onion
  • 20 ml - olive oil
  • 10 gm - butter
  • 1 tsp - brown sugar
  • Burger:
  • 2 slices large tomatoes
  • 40 gm - lettuce leaves
  • 2 sliced cheddar cheese
  • Caramelized onions
  • 2 burger buns, halved, toasted and bottom half buttered
  • Tomato sauce, as desired

How to Make Double beef burger

  • Season minced beef with salt and pepper. Mix well and make four patties.
  • Cook the meat patties on an oiled grill and brush with BBQ sauce.
  • Caramelised onion: heat oil and butter together in a frying pan. Add onion and saute till slightly brown. Add sugar and continue to saute till onion is crispy and brown.
  • Burger: Spread tomato sauce on the top half of the burger. Layer one beef patty, tomato slice, another beef patty, caramelized onion, cheese slice and lettuce (in that particular order) on the buttered half of the buns.
  • Close the burger and serve with French fries.
