How to Make Drumstick and King Prawn Masala

  • Clean and cut drumsticks into 2 inch pieces
  • Make a paste of ginger, garlic and tomatoes.
  • Boil and mash the potato into a smooth paste.
  • Chop onions finely
  • To hot oil add mustard seeds, allow to pop.
  • Add curry leaves and onion, stir for about 2 minutes, till onion is translucent.
  • Add the ginger-garlic-tomato paste, stir frequently and cook till oil starts leaving the paste.
  • Add the powders, stir on low-flame till for about a minute.
  • Add water, salt, mashed potato and get smooth gravy.
  • Add drumstick and prawns, cook till prawns are pink in colour (about 15 to 20 mins)
  • Serve with rice, chapati or naan.
