Ingredients

  • Raw Rice 2 cups
  • Red Gram Dhal 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Red Chillies 8
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Asafetida little
  • Salt to taste
  • Drumstick Leaves 1 cup
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Drumstick Leaf Adai:

    1. Soak rice for 2 hours and dhal separately for an hour.
    2. Grind them together with chillies, cumin, curry leaves, and onion till coarse rawa consistency.
    3. Add salt and mix drumstick leaves. (do not chop)
    4. Heat a tawa and make adai and fry adding enough oil.
