Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Drumstick leaves
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tbsp - black gram dal
  • Curry leaves
  • 3 - Red Chillies
  • 2 tbsp - grated/shredded Coconut
  • 1 tbsp - groundnut powder
  • a pinch - asafetida
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to Make Drumstick leaves poriyal

  • Remove leaves, wash and keep them aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan/kadai, splutter mustard seeds, black gram dal, red chillies, curry leaves and little salt and asafoetida.
  • Add green leaves and mix them well.
  • Now add grated coconut. Mix them well.
