Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Drumstick leaves
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tbsp - black gram dal
  • Curry leaves
  • 3 - Red Chillies
  • 2 tbsp - grated/shredded Coconut
  • 1 tbsp - groundnut powder
  • a pinch - asafetida
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • How to Make Drumstick leaves poriyal:

    1. Remove leaves, wash and keep them aside.
    2. Heat oil in a pan/kadai, splutter mustard seeds, black gram dal, red chillies, curry leaves and little salt and asafoetida.
    3. Add green leaves and mix them well.
    4. Now add grated coconut. Mix them well.
